working to support persons with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) in India. 


We also share our resources to support patients from other low and middle income countries 

around the world such as Nepal, Bangladesh and Ethiopia.

Our Work So Far

Apr 2020 - Dec 2021


  • Created the first public repository of expert interviews, patient stories, panel discussions, etc. aimed at enabling patients to manage their disease better, raising awareness and creating reliable information that the patients can depend on.
    1. Hosted on Facebook Pages and YouTube
    2. Linked with online communities on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp
    3. Collaborations with the topmost IBD experts in India, and renowned international patient advocates


  • Worked together with AIIMS, New Delhi for onboarding of patients onto the IBD NutriCare App – a mobile application launched by ICMR and AIIMS for diet tracking and management of IBD patients.


  • Worked with Colitis and Crohn’s Foundation (India) – an academic body of IBD experts in India, to train educated patients as Patient Counselors under the IBD-CARE program in 2021. This was the first time, patients received formal training to support other patients in their IBD journey.


Jan 2022 - Dec 2023


  • Represented the IBD Community of India at the 2022 Asia-Pacific IBD Conference, conducted by the Colitis and Crohn’s Foundation (India) and the Asian Pacific Association of Gastroenterology
    1. 1st such instance of Indian patients being involved in an Asia-Pacific IBD Conference.
    2. Delivered a 30 min talk on “Mitigating the Silent Shrieks of the IBD Patient.”


  • Collaboration with Enable India to provide free of cost counseling to IBD patients in India – a first of its kind resource for IBD patients in India to access free mental health care.


  • Enabled the production of an academic thesis dedicated to studying the lives of women living with IBD in India – research work conducted by Tanisha Singh (MA Psychology)


  • Collaboration with Generation Patient and CCYAN to represent Indian Patient Diaspora and share lived experiences as part of AIG IBD Summit 2023 pre-conference event - IBD CrossTalk.

  • Extended free counseling service to caregivers of persons living with IBD in India.

  • Collaboration with Multifly Lifestyle to create locally manufactured support clothing for ostomates in India.


  • Donated laptops to support the education and growth of two young girls with IBD whose education has been impacted by severe disease and economic issues.


  • Collaboration with QPR Institute India to provide free-of-cost certified Suicide Intervention training to members of the community.


  • Presentations on Mental Healthcare for IBD at IBD Vizag 2024 - 8th CCFI National Meeting. 


  • Policy Advocacy Presentation at Bridging Rare Summit 2024.


  • Collaboration with iCall and MHI to extend mental healthcare resources for persons with IBD in India.

If you require financial aid for medication or diagnostic procedures, please write to us with the following documents.


  1. Request Letter explaining financial condition of family and required aid
  2. Doctor's Prescription mentioning the medication/diagnostic procedure

Please note that our budget for financial aid is extremely small. Hence, we may not be able to support you fully. Partial aid may be provided. 


We cannot provide aid for biological infusions. We may provide some aid for biosimilars.
